D.I.Y- Geometric Loops

I hope you are doing great
Today I am going to help out with an easy D.I.Y .Are there any boring and out dated earings lying in your wardrobe collection ???? I am sure there must be , its time to spice up your old earrings with the trendy one's
This season geometric jewellery is the hottest trend. So here is a simple D.I.Y for you.

Things You'll Need:

1. Old pair of earrings (prefer one with a flat surface)

2. Cello Tape

3. Nail Enamel ( any 2 colour of your choice)

#Step1:

Once you have decided with the earrings from your existing collection. As I found my web hanging lying in my collection, so i decided to use these.Now  Place them on a even flat surface .

#Step2:

After you'r done with the above step take a tape and try pasting in a such manner that it forms a geometric figure in the centre, maybe a triangle,a square or a hexagon. I decided to go with the triangle.Once you are done with the tape make shure the inner portion forming a geometric figure is clean.

now fill the left out portion with colour you wish to (i choose to go with pink) .For a clean and trendy finish apply two coats of the nail enamel. Allow it to dry for atleast 10 minutes.

#Step3:

Peel of the tapes carefully after it has dried completly,You"ll get a clean geometric figure of your choice and now apply nail enamel of diffrent colour contrasting to the previous one on the remaining portion. Let it dry completly and at end apply the transparent top coat to give a shinny surface.

Your Trendy Geometric earrings are ready to spice up your outfit hope you like it. :) have a good day.

Make a wish !

Hey all you beautiful ladies ..!!!!!!!!

so tell us something , have you ever thought of making a wishlist?? No?? you think it's stupid?
Well, we at Melodies of Life,  think that wishlists are totally amazing. Don't we all ahave a little girl inside of us, who's a total dreamer ,oblivious to the world ? Today, lets celebrate her !

We are gonna make a wishlist. so, close your eyes and Dream!! Make a Wish!!

now it's time to put down your wishes on paper !! Write them all ..the crazy ones, the fairy-tale ones, even the ones that you are afraid of saying out loud , just all of them ( it's your personal wishlist , nobody's gonna see it you know :P). See, putting your dreams and wishes in a tangible form makes you work towards fulfilling them.

Things you will need : Colored sheet, Glitter Pens, your photograph and dreams, dreams, lots of dreams !!!

1. Title your wishlist and put y our photograph beside it.
3. Write down your wishes
4. Decorate your wishlist all you want !
5. Sign yo Lur wishlist. think of it as a promise of never giving up on your dreams.believe, in yourself and your dreams !
6. Put it somewhere you'll see it daily. better yet, take a picture of it with your smartphone
7. Share it with your BFFs . motivate them to make one too

although you can write your dreams anywhere ,even on a plain sheet of paper , we preferred doing it the "girly" way. It just makes the whole thing more dreamy !!

So, what are you waiting for ? Go, make your own wishlist. Let it be stupid, let it be crazy , just let it be !

I'll show you how to style it in three different ways ;)

Look#1 : To the mall 

Bag, Heels, Jeans, Necklace

This first look is perfect for a casual day. Begin by pairing the blouse with some dark wash jeans. The ones shown above have zipper detailing on the side. Pink heels add some color to the otherwise neutral outfit. Finally, accessorize with a knotted chain necklace and a tan cross body bag. 

Look#2 : Work Chic 

Clutch, Blue Trousers, Purple Trousers, Heels, Watch

To style the blouse for formal occasions , pair it with cropped trousers. The blue or the purple ones pictured above add the right amount of color without going overboard. Off-white heels match perfectly with the blouse, plus these are an awesome snake-print. A rose colored clutch and bracelet watch complete the look.

Look#3: Party Time 

Skirt, Heels, Earrings, Heart Bracelet, Knotted Bracelet

This look is all about black and golden. Pair the blouse with a body-con sequined black skirt ( I looovve all things glittery!). Add a few bold accessories, like the drop earrings and bracelets pictured above. Put on these superb cap toed heels and you're all set to party !

The Lakeside

Hello Girls !!!!!!! I have got sooo much to talk about. I'm totally bubbling with excitement  !!! Today I will be discussing basic style . 


Below are a few pictures of me on the lakeside. I'll be breaking up the elements of my outfit for you. Enjoy :)

That's me ! Now step by step :

Bold Florals : Florals are huge this spring. They have the power to make your day instantly bright :P. The top that I'm wearing also has cute bow detailing on the side.

Red belt + Pumps : Both of them beautifully bring out the red color of the bow. Belts and shoes can be used this way to make a particular color in your outfit pop. 

Contrasting eye liner : Since the accessories are all red, the make up had to be contrasting. Green contrasts nicely with red. 

                                      

Accessorize : Little details, like accessories, complete your outfit. Since my top is boldly patterned , I kept the accessories to a minimum, adding only a pair of hoop earrings and a ring.

Soo, this is it ! There's so much red in this post , it reminds me of Valentines :P.
